Taking a trip
Today my dad and I are packing up the camper and going on another trip. This time to Hutchinson, KS. Our cousins are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. It will be a short trip. The cake traveled the 100 miles to my aunt and uncle’s house without any problems. Everyone loved it and as usual I had to be the one to cut it because nobody wanted to mess it up lol. Anyhow, here is how it looked once I was done.
I also did a stacked cookie cake for the couple. The largest round was chocolate chip, the middle was peanut butter, and the top was sugar cookie.

I think my Skechers are a size too small. My second toe on my left foot has had a bruised nail for a few months now. I thought it was from when I tripped back in July. Today I wore them to work and that toe on both feet are hurting. I guess I haven’t noticed it because I’m not normally standing in one place. I’m always walking or jogging. This discovery kinda sucks lol.

But I also have other things that need to get done tonight, like starting on things for my cake order this Saturday…and sleeping before my first day of work at 8 am. Ugh. I am not a morning person. So I got the call I’d been waiting for today. My background check and drug test came back. They want me to go in Friday for computer training then orientation is on Saturday.
I’ll be doing what I love to do, cake decorating. I’ll be working part time at Kroger (grocery store). I’m hoping it’s the location that’s right here and not the one that’s 7 miles...
