I asked my mom to get me a new bra for my birthday. It’s not until the 19th, but we went ahead and ordered a few and they came in the other day. Two were underwire, which I have never owned, and one wasn’t. I didn’t care for the non underwire. I guess because the cup size was too small, but they didn’t make them any larger. I love the two underwires. One has larger cups, but the wires jab me in the arms lol. The other one has smaller cups but I can fit in it, but it doesn’t jab me. I’m trying to decide between the two. The wires are metal so in theory I could bend it toward my body so it doesn’t stab my arms. Has anyone else done something like that? I’ll take pics with them on (under clothes of course) and see what y’all think about the support they give.
How can I NOT have Illustrator on my laptop? So NOT cool. I need it to finish my vectors. Guess I’ll have to take them to work and finish them.
Remember those medals I designed? I contacted a company about prices and they said if I sent them the vector format of the artwork that they could make a mock up of them so the board can see what they will really look like. One small problem. I didn’t know how to make a vector so I just drew them… Last night I read a tutorial about making vectors and used the BMI logo as the test since it’s simple and it needs to be a vector anyhow and it’s not as hard and scary as I thought it would be. Then I did “the running knight” medal and I just have to say…I wish I knew how to do this before sitting down and drawing it all! It’s so much easier and now I’m having to do twice the work. Ugh. I’m not looking forward to the Houston Skyline… I’ll have nightmares about little yellow windows…
Yeah, so you can play it online too. Gives me a reason to use that $200 Wacom tablet that I bought and hardly use.
I’m not to the point that I can RUN but I run off and on during my walks and a few months ago I was able to go .25 mile without stopping. :/ I should have kept it up and not gotten lazy. My goal is to run though. I want to do a TRI and one day do an Ironman. Oh, I do log all of my stuff as walks because I walk more than anything else.
Seems a lot of people are interested in besting their own PR (or a friend’s!) one mile time!
Let’s get crazy for March Mile Madness!
Compete against yourself, compete against a friend. Let’s see what we can do in one month!
Track yourself here: Google Spreadsheet
The only prize is the pride of trying. You already win.
I could probably do this on the bike…not sure about walking. I about killed myself getting that PR lol.
There are only 2 1/2 weeks until the Aids Walk on 11 March and I still haven’t raised any money for it. Please help me by donating or reblogging so others will see this.
